ENVIRONSANITARY ISSUES
The word "Environsanitary' is coined from the two word: 'environment' and 'sanitary' or 'sanitation'.
Environment is defined simple as the circumstances, objects, or conditions by which one is surrounded, and also can be categorized into
a: the complex of physical, chemical, and biotic factors (as climate, soil, and living things) that act upon an organism or an ecological community and ultimately determine its form and survival
b: the aggregate of social and cultural conditions that influence the life of an individual or community"
Sanitary or sanitation is defined as "of or relating to good health and the prevention of diseases and infection by keeping places free from dirt, by removing waste, trash and garbage, and by cleaning streets."
Environsanitary therefore is a defined as a phenomenon whereby organisms in an ecological community determine its form and survival by actively taking measures that ultimately relates to good health by the prevention (not the cure in this case) of diseases and infections.
