Love to the Streets 2019

Love to the Streets 2019 was a success! We started off our online campaign officially by 8.00 AM on Twitter though individual campaign videos had been shared on our Instagram and Facebook pages. Volunteers shared @ocinigeria branded message graphics to promote peace as Nigeria decides and as much as we could, we tried to retweet and share these posts (especially those with the hashtags). There was also a Peace During Election collaboration video that we posted on our YouTube channel. Do check it out with the link here: (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0uej29dH0Kh8Nk9t2ww8Nw)

We ended the day with our Chairperson and lead volunteer, Mrs Oluwatoyin, going live on all our social media platforms. Although Instagram live would have expired, you can still check out the video on our Facebook page and Twitter handle. 

Though the Nigerian Election has been postponed, we believe that promoting the message of peace shouldn't be relented on. Come what may, the power we exercise is the power we wield with our PVCs. Our duty is to vote and that's all because no ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian. It is our responsibility to choose peace and chase peace. 

Thank you for all who joined in online from even outside Nigeria. The message of peace is indeed universal and love and peace go hand in hand. God bless Nigeria.
