#EndHungerProject III Preparations

In view of the upcoming #EndHungerProject III, we held our first meeting today at the Palms, Ilorin. The meeting was a short one, about 30 minutes but was accompanied by so much ideas and was indeed fulfilling
At the meeting, we deliberated on the following topics:

1. Fund Raising: Members were urged to start speaking with friends and families about donating for the outreach from now, to allow ample time for individual and collective planning.

2. Campaign: A date was fixed for the awareness: 6th December, 2015 at 3:00PM. More details will be announced as soon as possible. Logistics are being put in place for the successful running of the awareness/campaign. Getting a band, printing handbills and getting authorization from the security agents and venues will like to visit all have to be sorted ASAP.

3. Dress Code: Interested persons have been asked to submit plain white T-shirts (Polo) for the imprinting of the #EndHungerProject III logo on or before the 29th November, 2015. Please call Ms Olulegan on +2348188402728 for details on polo drop-offs. This branded tees will be used for both the awareness and the main outreach on the 19th December, 2015.

4. Vocational Training: OLUWAMIRANDA CARE INITIATIVE will like to pick a few people from the proposed communities that will be sponsored to undergo an extensive vocational training so as to ensure that a selected few, according to our capacity, can partake in trainings on soap making, dress making, candle making, and so on. We implore the members of public who have in-depth knowledge on these vocational trainings. Please call Ms Olulegan on +2348188402728 if you have any details on anyone who can teach any of these.

5.Medical Doctors: We call on Doctors who are willing to volunteer for carrying out medical check-ups on the inhabitants of the communities we plan to visit. We plan to donate a First Aid boxes and we will like the expertise of a pharmacist on the kind of materials to load up the boxes with.
