Zero Emissions Day!

How wonderful it is, as we celebrate The International Day of Peace, we can also keep the Zero Emissions Day 'holy'.

Zero Emissions Day also known as #ZeDay or The global 24 hour Moratorium (temporary prohibition) on the use of fossil fuels is celebrated on the 21st September of every year.

In 2014, the whole wide world is going back to square one – for a day. Today, everyone can take a break, and give the world a break. Imagine 24 hours during which you can talk to neighbours, play with children, take long walks and spice up the lives of those around you!

#ZeDay Guidelines are simple:
1. Don’t use or burn oil or gas or coal
2. Minimize (or eliminate) your use of electricity generated by fossil fuels.
3. Don’t put anyone in harm’s way: All essential and emergency services operate normally.
4. Do your best, have fun, enjoy the day!
