World Elephant Day

Tuesday 12th August, 2014 is World Elephant Day!




The beauty of nature is in the preservation and conservation of the beautiful plants and animals spread around our environment.




The ELEPHANT is a big beautiful mammal that are of two species: African and Asian.





Elephants live up to a 70 year life span and communicate by touch, sight smell and sound, just like humans do. 

However, in recent times, the species have been endangered, leaving only about 40,000 Asian specie and 400,000 African specie remaining world wide.

Tomorrow, the 12th August, 2014, I am joining the rest of the world in spreading the awareness on the conservation of the Elephant (endangered) species.
