WORLD REFUGEE DAY

The United Nations (UN) observes the WORLD REFUGEE DAY on the 20th of June, every year. A description given by the UN refugee agency UNHCR, declares that:
" a refugee is someone who has been put on to run away from his or her country due to harassment, war, or hostility. As a result, the refugee’s revisit to his or her home country is prohibited for the reason of the terror of harassment on the basis of race, religion, nationality, political judgment and devotion in a particular social group."

I join the rest of the world to honor the courage, strength and determination of women, men and children who are forced to flee their homeland under threat of persecution, conflict and violence.

I also use this opportunity to plead, pray and ask for peace in the world and especially in Nigeria and they #BringBackOurGirls
